Coffee Pot

We recently took a little camping trip to Island Park and stayed in the Coffee Pot campground. We had so much fun. We went up Sunday afternoon and unfortunately Lucas wasn't able to have any sleep before we left because he worked the night before. So by the end of the day he had been up for more that 27 hours.. so he was more than ready to sleep that night. We had the perfect camping spot, seriously gorgeous with the lake right across from our campground. Lucas wanted to try out his new Fly Rod, so he went out there while we went a ways down the lake and  played in the water with James. he got soaking wet and loved it so much.

Oh goodness I love this top picture so much. Such a handsome little boy.

after some fun in the lake we dried off and stuffed our faces with Oreos.

When I woke up the next morning I couldn't help but take a picture of my two sleepy boys. They were seriously out and all cuddly. Then Since they were still fast asleep I went for a little walk on the lake. It was so nice!

The second day we did some adventuring around Island Park. I don't know exactly where this is but The Duncans know their way around up there very well. So we stopped here and enjoyed how clear the water was...

Then we went to the Buffalo River campground so the guys could do some Fly Fishing. We watched for a bit then decided we should probably go since James needed a nap and I was super tired. Spoiler Alert: James didn't take a nap. Haha.

Here's my handsome guy. Goodness I love him.

We got back to Coffee Pot and noticed some clouds rolling in. After a while it started to lightning and thunder and before we knew it, it was storming pretty hard. The boys were on their way back and we almost ordered pizza for dinner but it was Casey's night for food and he wanted to make his Fajitas. Oh, they were good. So glad he did. It rained pretty much for the rest of the night and I cannot complain about that. The smells and fresh rain air coming through that tent was so nice! Ah, I love me some camping.

The next morning we took our time packing up. It was our turn to make food and I made breakfast Burritos and just froze them till it was our turn and they turned out pretty yummy. Poor Lucas was exhausted and woke up with a migraine so we fixed him up and finally got things all packed.

We ended up making a few stops on our way home.  We went to Mesa Falls and it was so beautiful. I had no idea it was there. I've been deprived. Then we stopped alongside the road at this little bridge and fed some fish (woops) there were hundreds of them. I didn't get any pictures of that but then the boys decided to do a quick fish to see if they could catch any and then they were meeting us at Frostop.
Oh, What's Frostop You ask? Amazing-ness. It's in Ashton and it's everything they said it was. Maybe cause I'm pregnant but I'm a little obsessed with food lately. It's sad really.

That was the end of our little trip. We had so much fun. far from a relaxing trip because chasing James in a full time job but It's so great seeing that little boy explore and see new things through his eyes. He truly makes things like this magical! Couldn't be happier with my two...soon to be three loves!

Pregnancy Update

This was 22 weeks. Excuse the bathroom mess. Ya'll know how it goes. Anyways, at 22 weeks I was feeling good. James and I were going on walks and I had a lot of energy...

...Then I was 25 weeks. Still feeling good but just really tired and some days my stomach just aches in certain places. I find it SO much harder to just pick things up off the floor and carry James downstairs. I don't think I should be doing that anymore. I wake up some mornings and my hips feel like I'm 70+ years old. I've noticed this pregnancy I am a lot more annoyed with little things people do and say. Like while I'm driving I have definitely developed a bit of a potty mouth. Woops. And WOOO baby girl, you are constantly moving and flipping and kicking and doing all sorts of stuff. I thought James moved a lot.

Right before this picture was taken Lucas was talking to baby girl so he could feel her kicking and he called her by her name which I shall reveal in a moment, but he called her name and then Luke felt her kick super hard. Such a movie moment. I was just a little unsure of the first name until then. I just knew it was her little name. It's moments like that that I literally live for.

           Her name is:

Since I was little I have loved the name Lily and It's pretty much been the plan from the very beginning. I've always loved the name Eleanor too but when we saw her in the ultrasound I just didn't see an Eleanor.

As for her middle name..It's very dear to me because it's 100% unique to us. I feel like it's an old school name and those are the names I love for little gals. I didn't even come up with it. Lucas and I were sitting there talking about names and I was expressing how I just have no idea what to name her and Luke said, "How about Lily Bea Duncan?" I didn't even have to think about it. We both were just brought to tears. That was it. Ever since we have been calling her Lily Bea. James says her name sometimes but he refers to her as "Baby Sister". Gosh, I love this crazy little life of ours. Can't wait till our little Bea is here.
