I had a pretty good Birthday. Lucas got me this awesome shirt and an iPhone holder armband for working out. :) We watched a few episodes of Veronica Mars and binge watched Parks and Rec. We may have skipped church. Whoops.. Ha.  My poor husband had been up since 3am so around 4:30 he passed out and so did James. We were out of milk so Lily and I went to the store to get some.

Then We got to see the Duncans for a minute and I was given the cutest picture frame! If you truly know me, you know that I LOVE picture frames.
That's literally all we did on my actual birthday. I woke up the next morning and Lucas felt bad that he fell asleep early on my birthday so he wanted to take me on a date for my Birthday dinner. He's such a sweetie. I really didn't mind. I'm just super chill and enjoyed just having him home even if he was sleeping. But I can't say no to some yummy food. We ended up going to Olive Garden and stuffed our faces. Oh, it was wonderful. I had forgotten how good that restaurant was. It was snowing the whole time and it was beautiful. We laughed for like 10 minutes about this story that surfaced on Facebook about a 22 pound cat that "attacked" a baby. The parents locked themselves in their room and called the police. Haha. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time and I'm certain the people at the table next to us thought we were so annoying. 
I really needed it. It was so relaxing! The best part was both kids were asleep when we got home. DREAM COME TRUE! This never happens! Props to Lydia (My cute lil' Sis-in-law). Oh, then we ate our dessert that we got to-go and watched more Veronica Mars. Best Birthday I would say! Just splendid. I'm so lucky to have such amazing people in my life.

It's been a while..

..and because of that I'm going to dump pictures on you all. I've become a bit obsessed with taking pictures of James and Lily. Mainly Lily ONLY because she stays still. 1% of the time I can get a clear picture of James. I swear he NEVER EVER sits still, unless he is sleeping.

A lot has happened in a few weeks. We decided to move and then found an apartment in Idaho Falls that we loved so we signed the lease and moved 4 days later. It was complete craziness and I do not recommend doing it unless you have to! (which we definitely had to.) That's a story for another day.

We are over the moon happy to be in Idaho Falls. We have been wanting to move here since we got married and we decided to just make it happen. Even though Lucas has to commute to Pocatello for work, we are loving life here. Our apartment is amazing and it finally fits us and also is going to allow our family to grow in the future.

              ^^This picture cracks me up. Lily faces are so funny and adorable and James asked to hold Lily. He held her for almost 5 minutes. That is a new record.^^

^^James tried on most of my headbands and it was hilarious. He's also super into 'Frozen'. James said to me the other day, "Mommy, I need to sing Let It Go song!"^^

^^James is LOVING his train tracks he got for Christmas. We scored them at DI for $6 bucks. It was a huge bag with all the tracks, trains, bridges..It was awesome and he hasn't stopped playing with them.^^

6 day old Lily Bea

Baby Bea had her photo shoot 6 days after she was born. We had Heather from Paisley Studios take her pictures and it's always so special when she takes our pictures because she was our photographer for our Engagements, Bridals and James' Newborns. Heather was also pregnant with a baby girl and had her just a couple weeks after she took Lily's pictures so she was pretty busy. We FINALLY got them this week and I'm so so giddy. I don't know what it is about getting our family pictures but It makes me so so happy. I love seeing our family grow through photography. I've always been such a huge believer in photography and the happiness it can bring to people. I know I am a broken record  but I'm just in love with these pictures.

I think this one is my absolute favorite because it's simple and beautiful and that happens to be my veil :)
