Calm/Crazy Life

My favorite moments with these two have got to be just lounging around our home.

We don't have the money to get out and do stuff all the time but we really do love just hanging out at home. 

Every once in a while we go get lunch or just a Dr Pepper for me. So even a little drive is nice sometimes.

I love my calm/crazy life with my family.

James & Lily

I feel pretty lucky I have these beautiful kids to take pictures of everyday. Everything they do is just so sweet and innocent and I can't stand but just take pictures 24/7. 

I love it when my Lily sleeps. Recently she loves sleeping on her tummy and it's just adorable. 

James loves doing anything to do with painting. or "going on adventures" outside with the neighbor kids. 

I'm just over the moon in love with my children. 

They make Photography easy on me. :)

5 Months

                                                                My baby is 5 Months.

 How do they grow so fast? 

She's still such a sweetie and ALWAYS SMILEY!

I'm not complaining at all. 

Lily Bea sits up for long periods of time, when she gets tired she just tips over. Ya know, what we all do when we're tired. No? Just me? huh.

She is starting to get random long hairs and it's the cutest. 

We haven't been to the doc in a while but I'm hoping soon. So I'm not sure how much she weighs but I'm sure she is right on point. 

She wears about size 1-2 shoes 

6-12 month clothes

size 3 diapers

LOVES her jumper and Bumbo..

but mainly she loves being in mommy and daddy's arms. 

She thinks big brother is just the funniest person in the world when they play ring around the rosies.

Hates tummy time. In fact she just ends up laying down. 

Loud noises *cough JAMES cough* still wake her up.

She laughs and laughs when mommy plays peek-a-boo with her. 

Rolls over when she wants but it's a rarity around here. She has quite the obstacle to overcome. Her Belly. 

She's usually a good sleeper. on a good night she will wake up once. But lately she wakes up multiple times and always, no matter how she sleeps at night, wakes up at 7:30am. Silly girl

Not a whole lot has changed from her 3 month post but I have noticed a change in her. Her personality is starting to shine through. I can tell her sense of humor is going to be awesome and her facial expressions are that of her mothers'. I could not be more proud.

6 day old Lily Bea

Baby Bea had her photo shoot 6 days after she was born. We had Heather from Paisley Studios take her pictures and it's always so special when she takes our pictures because she was our photographer for our Engagements, Bridals and James' Newborns. Heather was also pregnant with a baby girl and had her just a couple weeks after she took Lily's pictures so she was pretty busy. We FINALLY got them this week and I'm so so giddy. I don't know what it is about getting our family pictures but It makes me so so happy. I love seeing our family grow through photography. I've always been such a huge believer in photography and the happiness it can bring to people. I know I am a broken record  but I'm just in love with these pictures.

I think this one is my absolute favorite because it's simple and beautiful and that happens to be my veil :)
