Catching up

A bunch of random pictures! I haven't updated the blog in a while. Mostly just trying to keep the kids alive and normal. :)

 ^^I told James to go lay next to his sister and he just plopped on top of her. This is probably one of my favorite pictures of them both.^^

^^ I gave James a haircut a few weeks ago and this little stud was so good for me. He sat there for quite some time while I tried to figure out how to do it and I think it turned out really cute. Literally 2 weeks went by and he was already in need of a new haircut. Luckily Sadie happened to have the clippers out last time we were at the Duncans and she did it for us. Haha, Note to self, never let Sadie cut James' hair ever again. Pictures to come.^^

 ^^I want to do a post on our apartment but I STILL haven't unpacked everything and I don't have everything in it's right place yet. So a couple more months but here is our Living room. This was last month when James spent 2 days with my mom in Pocatello. I took advantage and went on a cleaning frenzy. I organized most of the apartment and just cleaned. Because we all know cleaning with a 3 year old is like brushing your teeth then eating an oreo. Am I right?^^

^^Lily was just crying for no good reason so yeah...I think this picture describes itself perfectly. (Oh, she is going to HATE me when she's older. HAHA!^^

 MOTHERS DAY 2014

^^Lucas and I went on a date a couple weeks ago and by golly I had so much fun. I'm probably going to be crucified by my Poky friends for saying this but...Blue Hashi is way better than Sumisu. Sumisu's atmosphere is definitely cooler but the food doesn't really compare. Don't knock it till you try it. Also, we got a few groceries. Doesn't sound like fun but anything with Luke is fun and it is always stress free without the kids. Motion City Soundtrack was our music of choice and a darn good choice if I do say so myself. 

I can't wait to do it again!

Lily Bea's Blessing Day.

The same weekend we had James Birthday Party, we had Lily's Baby Blessing which also happened to be Easter Sunday. So we had a busy weekend. That's how I like it though. Just Bombarded with family and friends and laughs. Miss Bea's Blessing was great. Lucas did wonderfully and I'm so blessed to have him and our sweet babies. After the blessing we had friends and family over for food.

 ^^Miss Bea right before Lucas blessed her. She woke right up when we got her out of her seat but she did pretty well during the blessing. Unlike her brother. James was 3 months when we blessed him and right when Luke started blessing him, he threw up all over himself and Lucas' sleeve. Haha.^^

I'm so so thankful for my sweet family. We do not have it together all the time. In fact we NEVER have it together and we are impatient and cranky most days but at the end of the day nothing is more important than our love for each other and I'm so grateful for that.

And would you look at my sweet Lily girl? I'm so in love with her.
