Sandwiches, Dinosaurs & Rain

You guys, I freaking love date nights or date days. 

it's pretty rare when we have a date or just time to ourselves to truly have fun. 

With our opposite schedules it makes it so hard because even when we do have dates Lucas isn't all there. His schedule is completely flipped so his "normal" is sleeping when I'm awake. So most dates that we have he falls asleep (no joke) or is cranky.  

BUT

last week was so nice! We had the best time and were able to just let go of stuff and we had the best time. I worked a little bit that day and then Lucas came and picked me up and we went to Firehouse. It was so great. It's one of our favorites! We then headed to the movie theatre which is our home away from home and oh, I just love it there. 

Luke and I are HUGE Jurassic Park fans. The theme song is our childhood! I went to Universal Studios when I was 6 or 7 and I remember seeing the Jurassic park ride and It's seriously one of the best memories I have as a little kid! Lucas has never been and he is WAY MORE into Jurassic Park than I am! He has 3 older brothers and that was their thing. Anyways, my point is we LOVE Jurassic Park so we were so excited for this movie and it did not dissapoint! :)

We came out of the movie and it was just drizzling a little bit and then by the time we got to Costco it was pooring rain so hard we could barely see out the window. We got to my moms and ran up to the porch and we were SOAKED! haha It was so fun! We picked up the kiddos and headed home!
It was a really nice, non-stressful afternoon!

HAHA, So I need to explain these pictures. We had just gotten done at Firehouse and we got the hats for James and Lily. We put them on to take a picture and
my phone has been dropped so many times, that lately when I go to take a picture it just keeps taking multiple. LOL. So yeah... You're welcome...

 My two favorite things in the world?
Baseball shirts and Floral. The two together is a magical thing.
