Bear Lake is coming up this summer and we're so excited! I've been shopping and preparing for months already. I just love making so many fun memories every year at Bear Lake with Lucas' family. It's truly one of my favorite times of the year. Lucas has all week off this year so I am so excited! Last year was awesome, but I really missed my hubby and he deserves to be at his favorite place on earth!
I have gotten some GREAT deals on some of our camping swag this year (insert Lucas rolling his eyes at my use of the word "Swag")
We were looking at the camping stuff at Fred Meyer and came across this adorable sleeping bag on Clearance for $10! I just had to get it and James was so pumped! His Grandpa Duncan loves cars so we can't wait to show Grandpa!!
This is one of my favorite things I got for $20 I think that's a great price for how we want to use it! It's a cooler and there are a million of Us Duncans so I will be able to fit all the snacks and all the drinks in it! Also a few beach things on the side pockets and such. I'm happy!
Lucas has been really wanting a Snorkel set for a long time. So, I thought this would be the best Father's Day gift for him this year!

This was one of those purchases where you have no doubt that it will be great! I have an issue every year with taking blankets to the beach cause they are SO heavy and then they take forever so shake all the sand off and to dry, so I'm very excited to see how this will work for us! I'll be able to roll it up when we are done and then put it right on top of the portable cooler! and take it back and forth easily!
$13 well worth it!
Last but not least, The jammies! We started a tradition to get the kids new jammies specifically for Bear Lake. I'm still on the hunt for Lily's, but I got her a new swim suit cause I want her to be covered a little more while we are on the beach. I love her new Rash Guard swim suit! Perfect! James picked out the Bug Jammies and I couldn't be more proud!
I got all this for $22 at Herbergers of all places! The lady gave me and extra 20% more than she should because she said I was doing a great job with my kids. Which basically made my whole year. Mother's never get sick of hearing that.
I think this will conclude our big purchases for Bear Lake this year, but I'm happy with it all! I think in a couple years when we have our next baby, I'm going to beg Lucas to get a new tent. Our tent now says 4 person tent but It'ts hardly a 3 person tent. So this year may be interesting. haha!
If for some reason the little cooler on wheels doesn't work out we are going to give in and buy this beauty..
