We took these the Sunday before the 4th. I really wanted to go to a stand that was open so I could get some photos of them looking at all the fireworks and all that, but I felt like that was a two person job so I just found one that was colorful and closed and let them run around. I had the cutest vision of this shoot, and maybe will try again next year with Lucas helping me. I still think they turned out adorable.
Here's a few of our day. I have a bunch of photos from my iPhone and snaps from my snapchat but I can't upload them because my phone is pretty broken and the computer doesn't recognize my phone. So i'm kind of bummed about that. At least I got some good ones with my D3000.
We went to the parade that morning and all my pics are on my iphone. Hopefully I can get it fixed and then I will upload them in a different post. But James took a pretty long (needed) nap afterward and So I let lily paint and I'm pretty sad about it because that paint wasn't washable and it stained her cute little swim suit. :( But she loves painting just like her brother so it was worth it I guess.
last year it was James first time playing with a sparkler and if you go back to my archive and see, he was deathly afraid of them he was 3! This was lily's first time with a sparkeler and she LOVED IT. Haha, Fearless, that girl. I wish I got some better pictures but I didn't want them to burn themselves so I hurried and snapped a couple and this was the best I could do.
I thought they would have been more impressed with the fireworks but they really could care less that it was literally across the street from our apartment.
She only had one nap and usually goes to sleep at 8 so she was so tired by the time it ended.
I tried to document as much as I could since Lucas was working again this year. It's basically something I'm going to have to get used to since he is going to take off a week for Bear Lake every summer, he's going to have to work the 4th unless it lands on one of his days off, Which it hasn't since our first year of marriage! CRAZY!
Anyways, I love these goobers and it was the best time spending my favorite holiday with them.
