Okay, so this is weird to me that this was James 4th Christmas and Lily's 2nd? I know it's not surprising, It's just weird to me.
But we had such a great Christmas.
I don't have any clear pictures of Christmas. I took my Camera but didn't use it the entire time we were in Idaho Falls. Crazy, I know!
This year James was super into Christmas. He understood the whole, 'Santa' thing and totally let all the presents get to his head. He was a total spoiled brat. Full on tantrum city when he ran out of presents to open. haha!
In his defense he got to bed really late and we woke him up early on Christmas Morning and let's just be real, Waking James is like waking up Smaug. My point is, he did great for a tired James.
I'm truly so blessed to have such amazing in-laws. They are really my favorite people. They are loving, funny and so giving. I have so much fun with them!
We were lucky enough to talk to Sister Duncan. She is in Vermont now and she said she loves it! We all said a prayer together and it was so great. I think most of us were crying and just felt the spirit so strong. We sure missed that girl but she is doing such amazing work!
We spent the next couple days seeing the rest of the family. We always go to his Aunt Janet and Uncle Bill's house for a big family dinner and there's just tons and tons of people and a million kids running around. I love talking to everyone and catching up. Lucas' Grandma Duncan is so sweet every year and gives every single person a gift. So James got some Duplo blocks and Lily got a Cabbage Patch doll! Lucas and I both got gift Cards with is so great!
Luckily Lucas ON Semi (Luke's work) had a fab shutdown so he got like, 12 days off for Christmas. It was AMAZING. We were all on a normal schedule and it was just heaven. So Christmas Eve we woke up and had our Christmas so we didn't have to haul all the gifts up to IF.
anyways, here's some (LOTS of) pictures!
Lucas made Panclocks (No, I didn't spell that wrong, that's what we call them. Thanks Adam Sandler.) Then I decided to make bacon and then this creation was made. James wouldn't eat it... So I ate it. Haha!
Grandma stopped by and gave us our presents and took a couple quick pictures. (SO BLURRY AH!)
Little miss was asleep before we even left the driveway! On to GRANDMA AND GRANDPA DUNCANS HOUSE!
Football with Uncle Riley
^^ CHRISTMAS MORNING! Lori made the kids matching Olaf jammies, Lily looked so cute walking around in that nightgown and James would only wear the pants and that was a fight to get them on. For some reason, he was not feeling it. Haha, Since then, he has worn them a few times. He's such a goof!
^^Lori also made us all these adorable socks that are sooooo warm! Girls got monkeys and boys got dinosaurs. Love them so much!
^^ You may or may not recognize these Jammies but James wore these size 24 month Jammies for his first Christmas when he was 8 months old and they fit him like a glove. Just like they fit lily at 14 months! hahaha You all though Lily was big. HAHA!^^
story behind this photo!^^
We had to go to Walgreens on Christmas night because Lily needed some prune juice if ya know what I mean and we had to get a couple other things. Anyways, Mary's Youtube App is Linked to the Roku to the TV , before we left we were watching Chrismtas videos and such and so we were in the car and everytime they changed the video we would change it back to Rick Astley's Never gonna give you up . It was pretty great.
^^James was drawing "Mike sazowski"^^
^^ We went to Rubios with the fam and she fell asleep in the car and stayed asleep almost the whole time! She woke up and Andy (Luke's Oldest brother) held her and she fell back asleep on him. It was so sweet!^^
^^James made this Gingerbread house a few weeks before Christmas and he made that frowny face all by himself and we thought it was hilarious. He started making the face and was eating off of it. Literally.
^^ I know I'm terrible but would you look at those boots? Dumb and Dumber boots for sure! I couldn't stop laughing^^
^^We got home from IF and it was snowing but there were hardly any clouds, The sun was so bright it was amazingly beauitful. The pictures don't even begin to do it justice. Also..Birds! AH!
We had a great Christmas break!
