On a completely different topic..
James
is getting so big and so smart!
at 2 years old and 1 month, He:
-knows his letters (not in order) Upper and lower case!
-knows his numbers 1-14 (1-10 in order!)
-Knows more instruments names than I do. We have such a musician on our hands. When we get in the car he insists we listen to, "Mumfer sons" but it's only Babel that he likes lately. He tells me when each instrument comes in. He'll yell, "BANJO!" when Winston comes in on the Banjo. Oh, I have succeeded as a parent.
-He mimics every single thing we say and is at that age when he wants something he will say it over and over and over and over.
-He is a Chocolate Milk king and could drink it all day every day. It makes him mean lately so we are currently off the Chocolate Milk. Definite Choco-holic.
-Hates soda=Happy momma!
-Loves learning his letters and sounds but isn't a huge fan of reading anymore! I don't know what happened there but we're trying!
-Still loves Little Einsteins and his new love is Backyardigan's and "T time" That's Adventure Time.
-He knows a lot of his shapes and points to Triangles and circles everywhere we go!
-He has a baby doll that we bought so he can get used to having a little baby around. He bounces her and says, "Shh, it's okay baby." He's going to be such a good big brother. At the moment I'm not too worried about it!
There's so much more that has gone on but It would literally be a book of what James has learned and done the past few months. I need to update more often!
Here are some photos of what we've been up to!
The great food truck race (or whatever haha) on the Food Network came to Pocatello! I snapped this picture from my car they were just headed to the Farmer's Market last Saturday. I would have gone but Lucas was sleeping and I didn't have the stroller to take James. I hear it was totally packed!
When we went to Salt Lake a couple weeks ago we did some major shopping for baby girl and obviously James got some cool stuff too. But She got really spoiled. I mean, look at that! I can't tell you how happy it made me that Lucas was truly enjoying picking out clothes for our new addition. He picked out most all of it at Carter's.
Now to buy the not so fun stuff..DIAPERS! Bleh!
